For example, he represented BankBoston in its merger with Fleet Financial Group, Inc.; Barnett Banks, Inc. in its merger with First Florida Banks, Inc. and in its merger with NationsBank; Chase Manhattan and Chemical Bank in their merger; Chase Manhattan in its merger with J.P. Morgan; J.P. Morgan Chase in its merger with Bank One Corporation; NorthFork Bancorporation in its offer for Dime Bancorp; Texas Commerce Bankshares in its acquisition of Ameritrust Texas; SunTrust in its merger with National Commerce; Schneider, S.A. of France in various merger and acquisition matters; and NASDAQ in connection with the regulatory approval of its SuperMontage trading platform.
