Margo Soulé handles a broad variety of matters in the employee benefits area, including designing and drafting qualified profit sharing, pension and stock bonus plans; planning and implementing leveraged employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs) as company financing and employee benefit tools; advising on testing and resolving discrimination issues in qualified retirement plans and welfare benefit plans; designing and drafting stock-based and other executive deferred compensation plans; advising on permissible transactions (including plan investments) in qualified plans; and representation of clients before the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Labor. She represents publicly held companies, privately owned companies and tax-exempt entities. She also advises clients on estate planning issues and represents fiduciaries in the administration of trusts and estates.
