Rachel Ambler is a trial lawyer. She does not take a case with the idea of getting a quick settlement. She diligently works each case, putting in the time and effort, working with the right experts, finding witnesses, taking depositions. Keeping the pressure on. Defense lawyers and insurance adjusters know she’s preparing for trial every step of the way. They know she’s comfortable in the courtroom. They know she’s not going to push her clients to take a settlement because she’s afraid to go to trial. That’s good for her clients.
Ms. Ambler received her Juris Doctorate degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law where she graduated cum laude. She is a member of The John M. Harlan Society and Phi Delta Phi. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History, summa cum laude, from The University of Texas of the Permian Basin. While in law school, Ms. Ambler was on the St. Mary’s Law Journal. Ms. Ambler served internships in both the civil and criminal divisions of the U.S. Attorney’s Office. She was a summer clerk for the Hon. Robert Junell, United States District Court for the Western District of Texas.
While in law school, she clerked for a prestigious civil and bankruptcy litigation firm in San Antonio. Ms. Ambler has authored several magazine articles, legal book reviews, and published law journal articles. She co-authored a comprehensive legal textbook on Texas Community Property and Marital Law, which is now in its second edition. Her textbook is being used at St. Mary's University School of Law and Texas A&M University School of Law. Ms. Ambler is licensed to practice law in the States of Texas and New Mexico.
