Meera has extensive experience in defending medical device and
pharmaceutical manufacturers in product liability actions, with a
particular emphasis on complex and mass-consolidated litigation. Her
practice extends to each phase of litigation, from inception and
procedural structure of federal multi-district litigation, to
successfully authoring pretrial dispositive motions, to case workup
including depositions of fact and expert witnesses, and ultimately
preparing a case for trial. Meera has an undergraduate degree in
neuroscience and worked as a research assistant measuring volatile
organic compounds in the Environmental Health Sciences lab at the Tulane
School of Public Health. Prior to starting at the firm, Meera clerked
for the Honorable Ivan L.R. Lemelle, United States District Court for
the Eastern District of Louisiana.
