Bill Maledon has extensive experience in both federal and state courts in a wide variety of cases in Arizona and throughout the country, including antitrust and trade regulation, product liability, insurance coverage and insurance bad faith, class actions, securities, sports, and various other complex commercial cases. He also has extensive experience in handling appellate matters in both federal and state courts and he also has acted as mediator in numerous significant cases.
His experience at both the trial and appellate levels has resulted in his appointment to numerous distinguished committees, including the Arizona Supreme Court Committee to revise jury trial procedures in Arizona, the Federal Rules Standing Committee (to which he was twice appointed by the Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court), and the Ninth Circuit Advisory Committee.
