I am involved in a broad array of financings for economic development, including serving as bond counsel for many of the firm’s issuing authorities, underwriter’s counsel for our investment banking clients and bank counsel for institutions purchasing or providing credit support of tax-exempt bonds. Projects financed include industrial development bonds as well as those for nonprofit borrowers such as universities, hospitals, nursing homes, continuing care retirement communities and assisted living facilities.Corporate Practice
In my general corporate practice, I represent publicly owned and closely held corporations in general corporate and financing matters. I also represent many of the firm’s banking clients on real estate, commercial lending and public and project finance transactions. I also work closely with nonprofit and education corporations on tax, corporate and financing matters.Resource Recovery and Energy
I have worked as bond counsel on numerous resource recovery and other solid waste disposal facilities as well as electrical generation and co-generation facilities. I have represented developers and operators of resource recovery and other solid waste disposal facilities in connection with the financing of many such facilities.
