Timothy (Tim) M. Kennedy manages all aspects of large discovery matters in response to litigation, and government and regulatory investigations, including assuring compliance with e-discovery obligations and planning and implementing cost-effective e-discovery processes. He has experience in collection, review and production of electronically stored information (ESI) in litigation and internal investigations, in matters involving corporate mergers, antitrust, securities, trademark and patent infringement, tax controversy and commercial litigation. Tim also devotes a substantial amount of time to pro bono efforts, including pursuing asylum claims on behalf of refugees and victims of domestic violence. He also has prepared and argued amici briefs and other submissions on behalf of several national legal aid associations.
Previously, Tim practiced commercial litigation, defending catastrophic injury claims against manufacturers and distributors of automotive, pharmaceutical and medical device, and industrial products. He also represented corporate clients in matters involving trademark infringement, class actions, toxic tort, environmental remediation, and maritime property damage and personal injury claims. In addition, Tim performed several document reviews involving pharmaceutical product liability, patent infringement, tax controversy and commercial litigation cases.
