A real estate and land use law practitioner for over 18 years, Tim’s practice encompasses all areas commercial real estate transactions, land development, zoning and land use, and commercial leasing. Tim also has significant experience serving as counsel to national home builders and developers in all phases of the acquisition, entitlement, development and sale of master planned and mixed-use residential communities throughout central and southwest Florida. In addition, Tim leads the firm’s Solar Law Practice Group which focuses on meeting the solar development, leasing and financing needs of developers, lenders, investors and business owners. Tim and the firm’s Solar Law Practice Group has been at the forefront of Florida’s emerging solar market, particularly in the areas of identifying and acquiring suitable project sites and advising clients on legal and regulatory constraints unique to solar development in Florida. Additionally, Tim also has significant experience representing agribusinesses in agricultural law matters and currently serves as outside general counsel to one of Florida’s largest agricultural companies. Tim is known for immersing himself in the details of a transaction and taking highly-effective practical approaches toward solving legal issues resulting in value-added representation that helps achieve his clients’ objectives and maximize their investments.
