With over 38 years of litigation experience, Ted Eichelberger has handled a broad range of commercial and tort litigation matters for both plaintiffs and defendants. Ted is recognized by The Best Lawyers in America©.
Ted currently concentrates his practice around medical malpractice, representing hospitals, medical schools, and individual health care providers. For over 21 years, Ted has served as lead counsel for the largest teaching hospital in the Atlanta area, and the area’s only Level I trauma center, in its medical malpractice and other litigation.
In addition to his health-care-related experience, Ted also has substantial experience in the area of products liability law, including the representation of a large chemical and polymers company in connection with its mass tort and asbestos-related litigation, as well as experience in commercial litigation, antitrust law, copyright law, corporate takeover litigation and commercial sales agreements.
Ted currently serves on the board of the Notre Dame Law Association where he serves as the regional representative for Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Ted received his J.D., cum laude, in 1985 from Notre Dame Law School, where he was a member and the executive editor of the Notre Dame Law Review. He received his B.S. from the University of Notre Dame in 1981.
