Susan Fahringer is a partner in the firm's Commercial Litigation group with over 20 years' experience in privacy and security litigation, intellectual property litigation (with a focus on trade secret and copyright litigation), consumer class action defense and complex commercial litigation.
In her privacy and security work, Susan defends companies against individual and class action claims alleging user data and privacy violations, and she defends companies against investigations and suits brought by federal and state government agencies and regulators such as the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
Susan’s intellectual property litigation practice focuses on protecting companies’ valuable intellectual property, trade secret, and proprietary information through proactive enforcement and protection efforts, including the development of comprehensive intellectual property protection programs.
Susan’s class action and complex commercial litigation experience includes software, patent license and commercial disputes.
Susan has served on the firm’s Executive Committee and Management Committees and as Chair of the firm's Intellectual Property Litigation group.
