For over 30 years, Bob Wyatt has practiced law in Oklahoma with a focus on litigation--particularly criminal trials and appeals. In 1995, Wyatt was commissioned Special Deputy Counsel to the Governor. In 2003, the Oklahoma Criminal Defense Lawyers Association recognized him as on of its "Champions of Liberty." Mr. Wyatt has been selected multiple times to The Best Lawyers in America (2007-), Oklahoma Super Lawyers ("Top 50" for 2019 and 2020), and U.S. News Best Law Firms. He has been on the Board of Directors for the Oklahoma Criminal Defense Lawyers Association since 2008 and currently serves the OCDLA as President (2020-21).
Mr. Wyatt practices in all three federal districts in Oklahoma and has tried cases to a jury in all three districts. He also practices routinely in the OKC and Tulsa metro areas but also in any of Oklahoma's 77 counties. His practice is split approximately 50-50 between federal and state courts. The firm has offices in Oklahoma City and in Tulsa and generally limits its practice to criminal defense and appeals. Other litigation is considered on a case-by-case basis.
