Peter’s practice is focused on mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions. He represents numerous clients as lead counsel for purchases and sales of businesses that have collectively totaled billions of dollars in value of leveraged and management-led buyouts over the course of his decades-long career. In addition to his M&A work, Peter advises on a variety of corporate law matters, particularly for middle market companies that are family-owned or privately held. He also organizes corporate, partnership and limited liability companies, either as start-up businesses or as joint ventures, and represents these companies in equity fundings.
In the area of commercial lending and finance, Peter represents lenders and borrowers in various secured and unsecured financings. He has successfully negotiated and closed loans that range in size from $10 million to $150 million, as well as rendered opinion letters related to multistate lending transactions.
In addition, Peter assists businesses and other clients with the purchase, sale, development and financing of real estate. He has negotiated and closed complex deals involving multiple parties and properties located in a number of states.
