Matthew also maintains an active pro bono practice litigating cases under the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction, capital conviction appeals, and other matters.
Previously, Matthew served as a law clerk to the Honorable Roslynn R. Mauskopf of the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York. While in law school, Matthew was executive managing editor of The George Washington International Law Review and served on the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board. Upon graduation, he received the Clinical Legal Association Outstanding Student Award for his clinical work as a student-attorney at the Public Justice Advocacy Clinic.
