Mark R. High is a member in the Detroit, Mich. office of Dickinson Wright PLLC. He practices in the areas of business law, corporate finance, and international transactions. Mr. High has been practicing law for more than 25 years and serves as counsel to both public companies and closely-held businesses, as well as to the domestic operations of Canadian and other foreign companies. Mr. High received a B.A. degree, with honors, from The College of Wooster (Ohio) and his J.D. degree from Duke University School of Law.
He is currently President of the Canada-U.S. Business Association, a past chairperson of the Business Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, and active in the American Bar Association's Section of Business Law. Mr. High is a frequent speaker at American Bar Association, Institute of Continuing Legal Education, Ethics Compliance Offers Association, and Business Law Section events, and various commercial seminars and has published numerous articles in ABA, IBA, State Bar, Practical Lawyer, and other legal publications.
Mr. High serves on the ICLE Business Law Advisory Board and is a co-author of the Michigan section of the Corporate Law: State Q&A Tool for Practical Law. In 2010, he was awarded the Client Choice Award in the M&A area for the United States by the International Law Office, London, U.K. He is listed on the Top Business Lawyers lists in the Chambers, Best Lawyers, Dbusiness, and Super Lawyers publications.
