Clients including local governments, landowners, developers, and homeowners associations on Colorado's Western Slope turn to Mr. Hamilton for the legal counsel they need to support intelligent growth in their communities. He advises clients in matters concerning water rights and water quality, local government and municipal law, real estate and land use planning, and associated civil litigation. He also serves as Town Attorney for the Town of Carbondale, Colorado.
Prior to joining Holland & Hart, Mr. Hamilton was a shareholder and director of Caloia, Houpt & Hamilton, P.C., in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
Mr. Hamilton is admitted to practice before Colorado state courts and the U.S. District Court, District of Colorado.
