Marilyn Fine is a shareholder, who advises clients on real estate transactions and litigation as well as corporate law matters, commercial litigation, and banking law. She advises buyers and sellers, landlords and tenants, lenders and owners and developers on a full range of real estate transactions. Marilyn also represents escrow agencies, title insurance companies, owners and lenders, landlords and tenants as well as contractors in litigation matters. She provides counsel on escrow liability, RESPA, title insurance coverage, title insurance bad faith, breach of contract and other claims as well as lien priority, quiet title, reformation, partitions, easements, boundary-line, foreclosures, adverse possession disputes and condemnation actions.
In her business law practice, Marilyn counsels clients on the full range of corporate law matters including entity formation, purchases and sales of assets and ownership interests, contracts – including vendor, project, employment, independent contractor and franchise agreements – as well as mergers, acquisitions, consolidations, and general restructuring. She also advises on a wide variety of business disputes, including tort claims, collections, and contract, UCC and shareholder disputes. Marilyn also represented clients in post-judgment actions including enforcement/recoupment actions, domestication of foreign judgments, and appeals before the Nevada Court of Appeals, the Nevada Supreme Court, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
