John Bowler’s practice focuses on Intellectual Property litigation. He is a first-chair trial attorney with over twenty-three years’ experience in major cases in federal and state trial and appellate courts. He has represented a variety of corporations throughout the United States, and is a veteran of litigation and strategic counseling involving a wide range of substantive issues. John’s practices touches almost every aspect of intellectual property, allowing him to address the full breadth of his clients’ litigation and counseling needs and to navigate amongst competitors’ intellectual property rights.
John’s trial experience includes jury trials, bench trials, arbitrations, and contested evidentiary and injunction hearings ranging from cases for Fortune 500 clients, to large international concerns, to closely-held businesses and individuals. He also has extensive experience with opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, as well as all aspects of domain name and ICANN’s Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy practice before administrative panels and other tribunals.
