Jeffrey Alan Bowersox
Jeffrey Alan Bowersox has been a trial lawyer since 1981. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, where he is a past Chair of the Section on Toxic, Environmental and Pharmaceutical Torts. He is a past Chair of the Oregon State Bar Products Liability Section and served for six years on both the Executive Committee of the Oregon Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and the Multnomah County Bar Association Court Liaison Committee. Jeff served as a member of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA) Board of Governors for eight years. He is a member of the Melvin M. Belli Society which promotes trial lawyer education and is a Fellow in the Pound Civil Institute which sponsors gatherings of judges from state and federal courts around the country.
For more than 30 years, Jeff’s practice has been primarily focused on product liability cases, including automotive, medical device and pharmaceutical products liability litigation. He has been appointed by federal courts to serve on plaintiffs’ steering committees in multiple mass tort Multi-District Litigation proceedings. He also represents injured people in claims arising from construction site injuries, admiralty and maritime cases, trucking and automobile collisions and other personal injury claims.
Jeff was named as the 2020 “Lawyer of Year” by Best Lawyers in the field of Mass Tort Litigation / Class Actions – Plaintiffs.
