Jane Armstrong practices in the area of employee benefits and executive compensation, with over 30 years of experience in the area. Her practice includes representation of private and public employers in the design, implementation and administration of tax-qualified retirement plans, including 401(k) plans, defined benefit plans and ESOPs, and representation of plan fiduciaries. She represents boards and compensation committees of public companies and not-for-profit entities in executive compensation matters. She also structures non-qualified deferred compensation and equity incentive arrangements for both private and public companies, and represents employers and executives in employment agreements, severance and golden parachute agreements and arrangements. Ms. Armstrong is recognized as a national speaker in the areas of employee benefits and executive compensation and was also the first woman to participate in firm-wide management, serving on the firm’s operation committee.
