JIM DANIEL is a graduate of the University of Virginia where he received his Bachelor of Arts in economics and psychology. Mr. Daniel also received his law degree from T.C. Williams School of Law and his MBA from the Richard S. Reynolds Graduate School, both of the University of Richmond. Mr. Daniel is past Chair of the Board of Governors of the Virginia State Bar Health Law Section and has been named Virginia Business Magazine’s “Legal Elite” in the area of Health Law.

Mr. Daniel’s practice is comprised of advising proprietary and non-profit institutional health care providers, physicians and physician organizations in strategy and legal implications related to alignment and integration strategies. Mr. Daniel regularly advises hospitals, health systems, and physician groups in strategy development under health reform, including the planning and development of Medical Homes and Accountable Care Organizations. Mr. Daniel also advises long term care facilities, home health agencies, hospices, durable medical equipment companies and other providers on various legal and regulatory matters. Mr. Daniel is a frequent speaker on healthcare strategy issues.
