Jack K. Holland is a partner in the Corporate Practice Group, and regularly works with the firm’s Bankruptcy, Creditor’s Rights and Financial Restructuring Practice Group where he has specialized in advising clients in corporate restructures and creditors’ rights matters.
For more than 40 years, Mr. Holland has focused his practice on serving clients of closely held businesses in mergers and acquisitions, corporate workouts and restructuring, and general corporate matters. During his career, Mr. Holland has represented clients in such diverse industries as dairy, distribution, hotel, manufacturing, medical, retail, scrap metal, steel and timber.
Mr. Holland may be best known for his creative business approach to solving complex business issues, and assisting clients in the negotiation of the purchase or sale of their business. Mr. Holland has been a guest lecturer at the Emory Graduate Business School and on panels for various business and law programs. For nine years, Mr. Holland served on the Firm’s Executive Committee and was an original founding member of the firm’s Art Committee and currently serves on the Firm’s Associate Development Committee. Prior to joining the Firm in 1974, he served as a Tax Law Specialist in the National Office of the Internal Revenue Service in Washington DC.
