Combining sound strategy and zealous advocacy with a healthy dose of pragmatism, Heather has consistently achieved creative, cost-effective solutions for her clients. She has successfully represented both individuals and businesses in complex cases, including contract, trade secret, copyright infringement, and real estate disputes, professional liability matters, shareholder derivative lawsuits, and the prosecution and defense of all manner of business torts in both state and federal court. Heather also has served as local counsel for numerous out-of-state attorneys and their clients, and as co- and liaison plaintiffs’ counsel in national class action litigation.
While in law school, Heather interned at the Securities and Exchange Commission, and served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Sandra N. Peuler of the Third District Court. She joined Anderson & Karrenberg in 2003, and became a shareholder in 2008. From October 2017 through December 2019, she served as the President of the firm.
As a native Utahn and avid supporter of the arts, Heather serves on the boards of two local non-profit arts organizations. In 2012, she relished the honor of participating in a staged reading of Love, Loss and What I Wore at the Salt Lake Acting Company alongside many accomplished, well-respected and vibrant women in the community. Heather is also a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.

She has been named one of the “Top 50 Women Attorneys in the Mountain States” and rated a “Top Business Litigation Attorney” by Mountain States Super Lawyers.
