Elliott Leigh Coward is an Associate in the firm’s Healthcare Practice, where she provides general legal advice to health systems regarding corporate transactions, regulatory and legislative issues, and litigation. Ms. Coward’s clients include hospital systems, physician practice groups, and other healthcare providers. Ms. Coward assists clients in matters ranging from regulatory advice, particularly involving Stark and Anti-Kickback issues, fraud and abuse compliance matters and investigations, false claims and whistleblower cases, Certificate of Need, medical staff matters, and compensation matters.
Ms. Coward graduated from Emory University School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Coward held a two year internship with one of the largest healthcare systems in the Southeast. She also worked as a legal extern for the Department of Health and Human Services, as well as interned in the Chambers of Justice Robert Edmunds in the Supreme Court of North Carolina.
