Demarcus Gordon is a partner in the Oil and Gas/Energy and Environmental Litigation sections. He represents clients in general litigation, environmental litigation, environmental due diligence, crisis management, oil and gas litigation, premises liability litigation, and mass tort and class action lawsuits.
Mr. Gordon has particular experience representing clients in cases involving premises liability and personal injury involving alleged chemical exposures involving asbestos, benzene, or naturally occurring radioactive materials (NORM). His practice also involves defending oil and gas exploration and production companies in legacy litigation by landowners and public entities alleging environmental damage arising from oil and gas exploration and production operations.
Mr. Gordon often handles cases that can go to trial. He works closely with clients to develop litigation and trial plans. He is actively involved in identifying key expert and fact witnesses and preparing them for deposition and trial testimony.
