David is the Vice Chair of Bradley Arant Boult Cummings, LLP's Construction Practice Group. He concentrates his practice in construction where he represents contractors, subcontractors, engineers and owners in private and government contract matters. His cases involve disputes of over several hundred million dollars. David drafts and negotiates contracts for various construction and design participants. He is a licensed professional engineer and has served as a consultant on projects throughout the Southeast. Prior to becoming a lawyer, he owned and operated a technical drilling company. His engineering expertise is used extensively in his complex construction and engineering cases.
David arbitrates and litigates cases in state and federal courts across the country and has represented clients in California, Colorado, New York, Minnesota, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, Kansas, North Carolina and Massachusetts. He specializes in construction law with specific concentrations in power, industrial, commercial building, hospital, highway and civil site development.
