David Austin is the President of Eaton Peabody. He concentrates his practice on a variety of corporate matters on behalf of the firm's private and publicly held clients. He represents
a variety of business clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions,
general corporate counsel, commercial contracts, debt and equity financings, and
stockholder relations.
Representative projects:
Represented a major timberlands client in its acquisition of a hardwood
flooring manufacturer; represented clients in the fuel and energy industry in the acquisition and
sale of motor and heating fuel dealerships and related convenience store
operations; represented a client in the fuel and energy industry in the renegotiation of
its long term convenience store franchise agreements and regional development
agreement; serve as SEC counsel to a major regional bank in connection with company’s
periodic and current 1934 Act reporting with the US Securities and Exchange
Commission.
David has also assisted clients with respect to business succession planning
and provided counsel to shareholders and other business owners regarding a
variety of business transition issues.
