Dahlia Ali focuses her practice primarily on domestic and international transactional tax matters and tax planning. Dahlia collaborates with clients from a range of industries to research and develop domestic and international tax planning opportunities, as well as, assists clients in structuring international acquisitions and reorganizations in a tax-efficient manner. Dahlia is also an active member of the Firm’s Diversity and Pro Bono committees.
While working in Dubai, Dahlia advised both Middle East and internationally-based clients on corporate transactions and investment fund structures throughout the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. Her international experience also includes assisting on a Sukuk issuance on the Irish Stock Exchange and an IPO on the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange.
While in law school, Dahlia served as the Chief Note Editor for the Transnational Law Review and as a research and teaching assistant for Professors Leah Chan Grinvald and Elizabeth Trujillo. She also received the National Tax Moot Competition Best Brief Award and the Corporate Law Jurisprudence Award.
