Chris Duesing is a shareholder with the firm and the managing partner of its Lake Geneva office. His practice features civil litigation matters in all types of personal injury cases including motor vehicle accidents, boating accidents, contractor negligence, injuries from animals, slip and fall accidents and other third-party liability claims. Chris has conducted multiple jury trials throughout the State of Wisconsin and has argued before the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Chris has been named as a top attorney in Wisconsin by Super Lawyers since 2010. Prior to that he was named as a Rising Star between 2007 and 2009. Chris has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America for Personal Injury Litigation in 2019 and 2020. Chris has been certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy since 2007. He has a five-star rating from clients on Avvo.com and was awarded the Client’s Choice Award in 2014.
Chris is a past President of the Walworth County Bar Association and continues to be an active member. He was appointed as a temporary Walworth County Court Commissioner in order to serve as a wedding officiant. Chris is a longstanding member in the Wisconsin Association for Justice and American Association for Justice. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Geneva Lakes Family YMCA and was recently elected to serve on its Executive Committee.
Chris graduated with Honors from Drake University Law School in 1995. Chris is a lifelong resident of Wisconsin and resides in Burlington with his wife and two children. When not in the office or courtroom, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, going to the YMCA and playing/watching sports. He also volunteers his time with the Burlington Athletic Association and Cross Lutheran Church.
