Cathey Gwyn has practiced in the area of real estate law and banking for more than 25 years, representing lenders, developers, real estate brokers and businesses in the acquisition, financing, development, construction and leasing of various residential and commercial real estate projects. Her experience includes drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, handling title matters and solving complicated title issues.
Her practice also covers representing lenders in commercial construction and development loans, bankruptcy matters, secured transactions and foreclosures, which includes negotiating and drafting commercial loan documents.
Cathey is frequently asked to speak at seminars on matters pertaining to real estate law and has been a guest speaker at the Nashville School of Law. A Nashville native, Catherine lives with her husband in Hermitage and serves on the Vestry at St. Ann’s Episcopal Church.
