In his 30-plus years as a litigator in New Orleans, Brent Barriere has built a solid reputation as a tireless advocate for his clients. Brent joined the firm as a partner in 2013. He practices in the firm’s Litigation Section and represents clients in a wide variety of commercial disputes, which run the gamut from breach of contract and business valuation disputes to officer and director error and omission claims to securities litigation and class action.

He is a Fellow in the International Society of Barristers, elected in 2007, and also a member of the International Society of Barristers. He was recently inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers. Brent frequently lectures on litigation techniques, fiduciary duty litigation, evidence and other litigation related topics.
