Practice Group leader for Taylor Porter’s
Environmental Regulation and Litigation team, Anne Crochet represents
business and industry by providing environmental regulatory compliance
advice, securing environmental permits, defending enforcement actions,
and protecting interests through litigation.
Ms. Crochet counsels generators, manufacturers, recyclers, transporters,
owners/operators of treatment, storage and disposal facilities, and a
major Superfund site in the areas of air, water, solid and hazardous
waste management, and soil and groundwater remediation. She also
provides advice in commercial and real estate transactions as to
environmental obligations, protections, and permit transfers. She has extensive
experience in media relations and crisis management.
Ms. Crochet was selected by her peers as "Environmental Litigation Lawyer of the Year in Baton Rouge" in the BestLawyers in America® 2020
rankings. This was the second time Ms. Crochet has received the top
honor in addition to her 2014 selection. “Lawyer of the Year”
recognitions are awarded to individual attorneys with the highest
overall peer feedback for a specific practice area and geographic
location. Ms. Crochet is also ranked by clients among Chambers USA "Leaders in their Field" and among Louisiana Super Lawyers in "Environmental Law".
Ms. Crochet is a contributing author of Louisiana Environmental Compliance,
a publication in the West Group Practice Series for Louisiana that
annually covers environmental compliance issues across the state.
