Aaron C. Boone is a partner in the Parkersburg office at Bowles Rice and leads the firm's Insurance Defense Group. He is a trial lawyer who concentrates his practice in the areas of extra-contractual/coverage, liability claims, business disputes, and trust & estate litigation.
Mr. Boone received his J.D. in 2002 from the West Virginia University College of Law, where he was a member of the Order of Barristers, the National Moot Court Team and the Marilyn E. Lugar Trial Association. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from The College of William and Mary in 1998.
Mr. Boone is admitted to practice in West Virginia as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He is on the Board of Governors of the 3rd District for the West Virginia State Bar and is a member of the Wood County Bar Association. Mr. Boone is also a member of the Defense Research Institute, Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia and a member of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance.
He is recognized in the 2024 Edition of Best Lawyers in America for Commercial Litigation and Litigation - Trust and Estates. Additionally, he has been recognized by Super Lawyers in the area of Construction Litigation.
