Bill Sisson, senior shareholder at Carr Allison, handles legal matters out of the firm’s Mobile, Alabama office. He concentrates his practice in general tort litigation, insurance, products liability, premises liability, workers’ compensation and municipality defense groups.
Since 1978, Mr. Sisson has tried hundreds of non-jury and jury trials throughout State and Federal Courts in South Alabama. He has spoken frequently on workers’ compensation matters and tort matters for Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, the University of Alabama School of Law, the Mobile Bar Association, the Alabama State Bar, the Alabama Bar Institute Continuing Legal Education and various other private organizations. Mr. Sisson is admitted to practice before all state courts in Alabama, the United States District Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Mr. Sisson has been selected as a Mid-South Super Lawyer every year since 2008 and is an AV-rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell. In 2009, Mr. Sisson was elected as a Fellow of the College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers. He has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America© since 2015 in the areas of workers’ compensation, personal injury litigation and insurance law.
