Wes Achey is a member of Alston & Bird’s Intellectual Property Litigation Team. Wes’s practice includes all areas of intellectual property litigation and counseling, with a particular emphasis on patent litigation and enforcement. He has represented clients in patent infringement lawsuits in federal district courts across the United States, including cases involving telecommunications, computer software and various mechanical devices. He is a member of the Georgia Bar and is also registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Wes received his J.D., magna cum laude, in 2004 from the Georgia State University School of Law, where he served as associate editor of the Georgia State Law Review. He earned his B.S. in industrial engineering in 2001 from the Georgia Institute of Technology, graduating with honors.
