Considered one of the best trial lawyers in the US by clients and attorneys, Thomas Moore is a senior partner at Kramer, Dillof, Livingston & Moore (KDLM). Tom achieved this recognition by being one of the most successful advocates on behalf of individual plaintiffs. He wins nine out of 10 cases (whereas plaintiffs typically only win two out of 10). Tom has won over 90 trials with verdicts in excess of $1 million, and has also negotiated settlements for clients in excess of $1 billion.
Tom has been named “Lawyer of the Year” multiple times by Super Lawyers magazine and has been recognized by New York magazine as one of the best lawyers in New York. He has also been recognized by Law Dragon (one of the top 500 lawyers in the country) and Best Lawyers. Tom is a member of the prestigious Inner Circle of Advocates – an invitation-only group of the top 100 trial attorneys in the country.
When he is not going to court, Tom spends his time doing research, writing, and charitable work. He has funded scholarships for Fordham Law School, his alma mater, and has endowed a chair in Trial Advocacy. In addition to this, he has worked on behalf of breast cancer victims and sustainable healthcare throughout the world. Tom lectures nationally for lawyers’ groups and professional organizations. He has authored legal textbooks on medical malpractice and, together with his KDLM partner Matthew Gaier, he co-authors a column for the New York Law Journal.
