Steven Thomas is a veteran commercial litigator and strategic business adviser, representing a diverse range of companies before state and federal courts, regulatory agencies, and commercial and securities arbitration panels.
Mr. Thomas has represented national and regional financial institutions, national telecommunications and VoIP providers, software developers, real estate developers, securities firms, healthcare providers, construction companies, manufacturers, and professional service firms. He works closely with management to achieve corporate goals and when possible, helps clients to avoid litigation, developing efficient strategies to minimize costs.
With extensive experience in e-discovery issues, his work on McGuire Craddock & Strother’s technology committee keep Mr. Thomas abreast of technological developments that reduce costs and improve efficiency. He has litigated cases involving telecommunications regulatory laws and tariffs, trademark and copyright infringement claims, employment disputes, antitrust and competition laws, securities laws and regulation, director and officer liability, financial institution compliance, as well as a variety of contract and business tort claims.
