Steve provides legal counsel in a wide range of real estate, banking and corporate transactions. He has extensive experience in representing brownfield redevelopers on projects across the country.
In Colorado, Steve's real estate transactions include representation of the purchasers and brownfield redevelopers of the Gates Rubber factory site and the old Children's Hospital site in Denver. With respect to greenfields transactions in Colorado, Steve's work includes representation of the developer of two 10-story office buildings in Interlocken Business Park in Broomfield and a community hospital in connection with a relocation of the hospital and development of a regional medical campus.
Elsewhere, Steve's work includes representation of the purchasers and brownfield redevelopers of: a 750 acre site in the New Jersey Meadowlands; a 1,000-acre former defense plant in Santa Clarita, Calif.; a 250-acre former automobile plant in Boisbriand, Quebec, Canada; and a 65-acre waterfront site in Richmond, Calif.
Steve's banking and financing transactions cover a wide array of matters representing lenders and borrowers. He has provided lender representation in the financing of several Colorado ski resorts, letter of credit financings, corporate financings, lines of credit and mortgage warehousing lines of credit. He has provided borrower/guarantor representation in $146-million New Jersey Economic Development Authority Bonds; borrower representation in the securitization of a leverage lease pool involving nearly $1 billion in cash flows; and borrower representation in a $50-million securitized revolving credit facility.
