Mr. Carleton is an AV rated trial litigation specialist in the State of Louisiana with thirty-five years in general business, oil and gas, construction, employment, and State/Municipality litigation. Mr. Carleton has tried over thirty jury trials and three hundred Judge trials and arbitrations across the State of Louisiana in every Federal District Court in the State and every State District Court in the State's most populous parishes (counties). Mr. Carleton has specific experience with oil and gas "legacy" alleged property, underground aquifer, and personal injury contamination cases, as well as Civil Service, Expropriation and Civil Rights Cases for various departments of the State of Louisiana and for the East Baton Rouge Parish/City of Baton Rouge consolidated government, in addition to representing various clients in construction and employment litigation cases. Mr. Carleton is an active member of the Louisiana and Baton Rouge Bar Associations. He has received the "Century Award" and the "President's Award" from the Baton Rouge Bar Association for Pro Bono Community Service.
