Scott Murray is a commercial litigator who represents clients of all types – from Fortune 500 companies to individuals.
Scott represents clients in high-stakes litigation throughout the United States, advocating for both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of commercial disputes, including antitrust, contract, tort, RICO, unfair trade practices, and other claims. Scott has represented and counseled clients in a number of different industries, including financial services, real estate, defense, automotive, franchise, agricultural, energy, technology, utility, and medical. He has defended companies against class actions, and he has represented clients in arbitrations in the United States and the London Court of International Arbitration.
In addition to representing clients, Scott previously served as general counsel for a publicly-traded company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Scott served on the company's executive and risk management committees, managed a legal department, prepared and approved filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission, advised the board of directors on legal issues, and managed all outside litigation.
Scott graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School and with high distinction from Indiana University. Prior to attending law school, Scott taught high school chemistry and physics. Scott is admitted to practice in Indiana and in federal courts around the country.
