Paul Parker focuses his practice on semiconductor technologies and emerging
medical device companies. In the semiconductor industry, Paul has extensive
experience in general semiconductor and LED fabrication and process patents
(CMP, CVD, ALD, lithography, and electrochemical deposition/polishing, etc.);
probing/testing technologies (scatterometry, overlay measurements,
photoluminescence, probe cards, test jigs, etc.); semiconductor structures and
integration flows; semiconductor device and CMOS imager assembly/packaging
(single packages, stacked packages, interconnects, etc.). Paul also has
extensive experience in portfolio development and patent strategies, freedom to
operate analyses and other intellectual property due diligence, patent
licensing, and technology transfer. In the medical device industry, Paul has
represented investors and emerging companies from incubation through
acquisition/IPO. Paul has particular experience in cortical/deep brain
stimulation; automatic external defibrillators; implantable cardioverter
defibrillators; other cardiac technologies (ablation, monitoring, etc.);
localization/guiding technologies; congestive heart failure/hypertension; and
aesthetic treatments.
