Neal J. White, PC, focuses his practice on business and transactional counseling, with particular emphasis on acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and executive employment contracts and compensation. He represents publicly and privately held companies, including employee stock ownership plan (ESOP)-owned companies, early stage businesses, family businesses, private equity sponsors and private equity portfolio companies, in the manufacturing and services sectors. Neal's transactional practice covers Asia, Europe and the United States, representing US and non-US clients. He advises companies on compliance programs and leads the Corporate Practice Group's Compliance cross-practice initiative.
Neal's work with privately held companies includes governance, compensation and succession. His work with public companies covers mergers and acquisitions and large commercial contract matters. Neal's private equity work includes representing targets of private equity investment as well as the private equity firms making the investment.
Neal represents foreign clients with respect to the US inbound business and US clients with respect to their outbound business. He represents private and public companies alike on a wide range of commercial matters, including distribution and sales agency channel contracts and licensing. His distribution and agency channel work covers negotiation of domestic and cross-border contracts and counseling on termination of such relationships. He advises clients on compliance issues in supply chain management.
