Frantz, McConnell & Seymour, LLP
I was born and raised in Dyersburg, Tennessee and moved to Knoxville to attend the University of Tennessee. I served as a Judicial Clerk to the Honorable Houston M. Goddard, Tennessee Court of Appeals, Eastern Section during my third year of law school and joined the law firm of Frantz, McConnell & Seymour, LLP upon graduation. I concentrate my practice in the areas of bankruptcy, commercial litigation, civil litigation and business law. I have appeared before state and federal courts throughout East Tennessee, the Tennessee Court of Appeals, the Tennessee Supreme Court and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals on various civil matters. I have extensive experience in bankruptcy law, representing trustees, creditors and creditor committees.
I am active in the legal community, being a member of the Knoxville Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, American Bankruptcy Institute and the American Health Lawyers Association. I currently serve as a director on the board of the Mid-South Commercial Law Institute, which sponsors an annual conference for bankruptcy lawyers and judges in Tennessee. I have served in various capacities in the Knoxville Bar Association including on the Board of Governors.
