Michael Swartz focuses on complex commercial and securities litigation. In courts across the United States, he has represented various investment funds and institutional investors in pursuing securities fraud claims and in appraisal and valuation actions. In such cases, Mike has represented Oaktree, DW, and other investors. He also represented the County of Orange in its securities litigation following its 1994 bankruptcy filing.Mike has also represented individuals, corporations, and lawyers in a wide array of commercial litigation, including claims for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, malicious prosecution, and misappropriation of trade secrets.
