Ms. Triplett is an attorney in the San Luis Obispo office of Margulies Faith, LLP. Ms. Triplett focuses her practice on representing Chapter 7 and 11 trustees and bankruptcy litigation. Ms. Triplett also represents debtors and creditors in Chapter 7 and 11 individual and business bankruptcy cases, and adversary proceedings. Ms. Triplett has extensive experience representing bankruptcy trustees, creditors, secured lenders, and debtors in a variety of matters, including bankruptcy and business related litigation, all aspects of bankruptcy reorganization, workouts, restructurings, and insolvency counseling. Ms. Triplett is responsible for a wide range of law and motion practice; including drafting memoranda of law, complaints, propounding discovery, trial preparation, and oral argument. Ms. Triplett routinely performs specialized research on a variety of legal and procedural issues related to the intersection between state substantive law and federal bankruptcy law. She has advanced ability to conceptualize complex legal problems and articulate solutions clearly and effectively.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Triplett served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Catherine E. Bauer and Honorable Kathleen Thompson (Ret.), Bankruptcy Judges for the Central District of California. During her time at the court, Ms. Triplett conducted wide-ranging legal research, preparation of bench memoranda, orders, and opinions in advance of court rulings. Ms. Triplett was responsible for the management and preparation of the judges’ weekly calendar including, trial, and law and motion calendars. She also drafted Ninth Circuit Bankruptcy Appellate Panel bench memorandum and an unpublished opinion for pro tem session.
Ms. Triplet is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, IWIRC (International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation), San Luis Obispo County Bar Association, and San Luis Obispo Women’s Lawyers Association.
