After graduating in 1999 from Mercer Law School, Lottie clerked for Judge James T. Trimble, Jr. in the U.S.D.C. Western District of Louisiana. She litigates in personal injury defense, product liability and casualty claims. She defended the LaSalle Parish School Board in the infamous "Jena Six" litigation and in 2015 was lead counsel in defeating a class action claim in excess of $180 million.
