Linda M. Oliva, Esq. has been a distinguished attorney for plaintiffs in personal injury cases for 25 years. She handles all aspects of pretrial litigation and appeals. She is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers’ Association, the American Association for Justice, the Nassau County Bar Association, the Long Island Hispanic Bar Association, and the Colombian Lawyers Association of Nassau County. Linda serves on the board of the Colombian Lawyers of Nassau County, and is Past-President of the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association. Linda dedicates considerable time to community services, and participates in many community events. In 2017 and 2016, she was named an Outstanding Woman in Law by Hofstra University School of Law’s Center for Children, Families and the Law. Linda is actively involved in several organizations that support Breast Cancer research, awareness, and patient support, including the Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition. She is a member of the Adelphi Breast Cancer Hotline’s Creative Cups dinner committee, and in 2014 was a co-chair of the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association Foundation Golf Outing Committee which raises money for breast cancer research and awareness. She was named to the 2016, 2015 and 2014 New York Metro Superlawyers lists, among only 5% of all attorneys to make the list after a rigorous process of peer recognition and professional achievement. In 2013, Linda Oliva was named to the Long Island’s Top 50 Most Influential Women in Business by the Long Island Business News, for her contributions to the economy and community. In 2012, she was featured in the Long Island Business News’ “Who’s Who in Women in Professional Services.” In 2011, she was the Nassau County Women’s Bar Foundation Courage Award recipient. Linda obtained her law degree from St. John’s University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from Hofstra University.
