Leslie A. Wickes joined Adams and Reese in 2013 as Special Counsel following the firm’s expansion into Jacksonville. Leslie serves as Partner in Charge of the Jacksonville office.
Practicing law since 1993, Leslie focuses primarily in the area of business litigation. She has experience in litigating matters involving all matter of contracting, corporate governance, employment and agency, trade practices and professional negligence.
Leslie has particular experience in the formation, licensure, regulation and purchase/sale of insurance companies and insurance-related entities, including retail and wholesale brokers, claims administrators, managing general agencies and service providers. She regularly litigates claims arising out of the failure of insurance companies, claims involving coverage and reinsurance matters and disputes over agent commission, profit sharing, failure to procure and unfair competition.
Leslie also has experience litigating trademark and copyright infringement disputes and regularly advises her clients on licensing issues.

Leslie received her J.D., with honors, from in 1992. While attending law school, she was a senior editor of the Florida Law Review. She obtained her B.A. from the University of Florida in 1989.
Leslie is Past President of the Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association, member of the Women Business Owners of Florida, and the 4th Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Committee. In the community, Leslie has served on the Board of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of North Florida.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking, sewing, skeet, fishing and most of all, spending time with her children. She most admires her grandmother, Sarah Adams, whose selfless service to her community, independent spirit, hard work and dedication to family is an inspiration to so many.
