The Bryant Law Firms
Josh Bryant is the Managing Attorney of The Bryant Law Firms, a legal services conglomerate that serves individuals and families through adoptions and estate plans, and businesses and non-profits with legally defensible business processes, documents, and operations. He began his legal career owning a high volume litigation firm. There he successfully tried family and criminal cases. He then became the Pastor of Adult Discipleship at a large regional church in Northwest Arkansas, where he was responsible for leading over 1,000 adults through their small groups. He spent about 20% of his time serving concurrently as the church's in-house counsel. Since 2017, he has returned to private practice where he helps individuals, families, businesses, and non-profits in a variety of legal concerns.
Josh Bryant started Church General Counsel as the firm through which he aids churches and ministries. His process management software takes church policy manuals and boils them down to their basic processes. Those processes cover everything from hiring and firing to church growth. He reviews those processes to help churches make them legally defensible and trainable. He produces decision trees and training videos to help volunteers do what they volunteered to do in a manner that does not jeopardize the church. He also helps churches draft or revise their bylaws, and has a book coming out soon called "Bylaws and Business Meetings: Turning Pain Points into Gain Points."
This year, Josh Bryant moved into a new office and opened NWA FaithWorks, a faith-based incubator for small businesses whose owners desire to run the business consistent with their values. In NWA FaithWorks, owners get access to office space, meeting space, high speed internet, telephones, administrative assistance, access to capital and advisors, legal and process management, tax work, and more. Josh Bryant does not take an equity stake - just a low monthly fee that covers all of the above. The infrastructure for small businesses is already there - they just have to do their business.
Josh Bryant has become an expert in adoption ethics. He drafted and worked with legislators in Arkansas to pass Act 1022 of 2019, and will continue to work towards more systemic changes for the 2021 General Assembly.
Last, but certainly not least, Josh Bryant is an estate planner who assists individuals and families with their wills, trusts, charitable giving, powers of attorney, and other end of life documents. He charges a low annual fee for estate planning services, desiring to establish a long term relationship with his clients rather than bill them like he'll never see them again.
