John T. Piggins is a Member of the firm and has been practicing law since 1982. He specializes in representing creditors, trustees and debtors in all types of bankruptcy-related matters. Mr. Piggins has also assisted numerous business entities in matters related to commercial contracts, real estate, business organization and mortgage banking.
Mr. Piggins is a member of the Bankruptcy Steering Committee for the Federal Bar Association of the Western District of Michigan and served as treasurer from 2006-2016. He is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees. He is also a member of the Michigan Bar Association’s Real Property and Business Law Sections, the Grand Rapids Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Mr. Piggins is the chair of Miller Johnson’s Bankruptcy – Creditors’/Debtors’ Rights practice group.
