J. Jacob Chapman is a 2010 graduate of the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at LSU, where he graduated cum laude. He received cali awards (awarded for the highest grade in your class) in Louisiana Civil Procedure and Comparative International Law. His primary practice areas include: medical malpractice defense, general liability and products liability defense, general civil litigation, insurance coverage and defense, and state and municipal civil service. He has represented physicians, hospitals, and other medical professionals from every stage of litigation, from the medical review panel stage all the way through the Louisiana Supreme Court. He is experienced in interpretation and drafting of complex contractual policies, including auto and home-owner’s insurance policies, employment contracts, independent contractor agreements, etc. He is a member of the Baton Rouge Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association, The Baton Rouge Lawyer Publications Committee, and is licensed to practice in all State and Federal Courts in Louisiana. Mr. Chapman has earned a reputation as an effective litigator and a tireless advocate for his clients.
